Overall a good starter book for ceremonial magick lite, so to speak.
Like many books of its era, it suffers from fear mongering passages and lots of opinions stated as facts ex Law of Rebound as objective fact, projection of contemporary human morality on deities, very specific ideas on spirit elementals, bashing the left hand path etc
Other problems include ill-advised practices, such as suggesting one bathe with malachite, malachite being a toxic mineral that dissolves in water, as well as dripping perfume into a stream as offerings to Ondines, which seems more like a great way to piss off water spirits for polluting their streams with synthetic chemicals.
It is a very very very Eurocentric and dated understanding of the world and magic ex Asia referred to as the Orient , but if you can look past all that I have read above, it serves as a decent start on a variety of subjects.
I personally enjoyed the dissection of the various planes and their functions towards magical working, and most of the anecdotes the author shares about her experiences. It is nice seeing a book getting down to the nitty gritty of the actual doing process of magick and the struggles one might find on their journey, as opposed to just copy pasting a bunch of spells, giving you brief reasons for their addition and then moving on.

When I first bought Anna Riva's magick oil, I didn't see this many varieties. I tried several, the ones I love most are Abra Melin, Can't Stay Away and Arabian Nights. In the future, I figure that health and money are more important, I will focus on those instead. Magick oil is light, small and easy to hide. I mean you can't hide the scent but you can hide the bottle. You know how magick needs to be performed in secrecy especially when you're not living alone or you are living with people who are not likely to accept what you're doing. Simple to use, conveniently carried, I highly recommend this oil to anyone who wants to change the tide to their favour.

This product works effectively and naturally because the glory water does not work exagerratedly but magically. The other day before I went to school, I applied some on the collar of my school uniform. Later on, I hopelessly took the late train. However, by the time I reached on my destination. I realised that the train came a couple of minutes later. Consequently, I wasnt late for school. The night before I have not done my eng homework and did not studied for my math test but then the eng teacher seemed to forget about the hw (she never forgets) and the math teacher decided to postpone the test (never happened b4). I highly recommend this product for those who wish to overcome obstacles, increase their luck and for everyone wishing for things to go smooth throughout their day.
