The Tarot Decoratif is a project that combine features from both the Marseilles and Waite Smith systems. Its self published as a special edition and is aimed primarily at collectors. While based on and referencing the imagery of the classic decks, this is not be a clone, a restoration, re-colouring or clean up of pre-existing older decks. These images are my designs and several veer from the traditional versions in varying degrees. Nevertheless I believe that any reader already familiar with the imagery from either system will have no difficulty recognizing and being able to work with my modifications. I did not reinvent the wheel, I merely re-drew it.

This special edition includes a signed signature card, a themed satin lined bag, and comes in a black outer box. I am assuming that anyone ordering this deck is already familiar with Tarot, so there is no companion book to provide meanings for the cards. Producing one would simply add to the production costs and be somewhat redundant. However there will be a companion pdf document that provides an explanation and racional for my personal design choices, if you find such information of interest.

This deck is a standard 78 card set plus a personally signed signature card.

The size of the cards are 3.25 x 5.25 inches. the card stock finish is gloss but is being printed with an additional contrasting matt spot varnish over the outer border design.
