The Sinking Wasteland Tarot Deck, now in its fifth edition, includes 78 Major and Minor Arcana cards, all fully illustrated and printed at the standard Tarot size of 2.75x4.75" on matte-coated linen card stock, intended for durability and vibrant reproduction of both the darkest and lightest elements of the imagery. Each deck is housed in a rigid two-piece box designed to provide protection and longevity even while bouncing around in a full backpack while you’re on the go. Also included is a 30 page guide book with instruction on how to use your deck, card themes, and associated quotes.

The Sinking Wasteland Tarot is set in a post-apocalyptic Gothic western wasteland using the archetypes and themes of a RWS Tarot deck to bring its setting to life. Its world is one with toxic water rising slowly to swallow the land. Lands that are mostly desert and wastes. Wanderers that inhabit the world and the unknown creatures and magics that were unearthed when the world broke.

In creating this deck, I found that I was able to communicate visually a great deal of the atmosphere that I was hoping for, and I've been very pleased with the results and its reception. Some of the characters that I've drawn are based on people I know, others are pulled out of thin air. I wanted something with more diversity than I encountered in more traditional decks, and so in this interpretation of the tarot you will find different body types, ethnicities, ages, sexualities, and gender expressions.
