Encircled within is a Hexagram: a symbol associated with the Magic of Alchemy as well as human creation. It symbolizes the Divine Union of Male and Female Energy. The Ouroboros is an Ancient Mystical Symbol signifying Infinity and Unity. Being a circle shows that infinity has no beginning, nor end, while the dragon biting its tail shows that the beginning and end of infinity are the same place. The Ouroboros represents Self Knowledge and Cycle of Life; something constantly re-creating itself, the eternal return. It can also represent Primordial Unity: something existing in or persisting from the beginning with such force that it cannot be extinguished. Ou Ouroboros resembles the one found tattooed on Homunculi in the Anime series "Fullmetal Alchemist."
